What is the advantage of hiring a professional cleaning service instead of an individual?
We offer on-going training in professional cleaning techniques and are always looking to improve on cleaning products and ideas. We guarantee your satisfaction.
Do I need to provide vacuums, brooms or other cleaning equipment and supplies?
We bring all the supplies and equipment needed to clean your home from top to bottom.
What about taxes?
Properly documented payment of employment tax for household employees is of growing concern for many. The IRS requires that FICA taxes be paid on all household employees including those you hire yourself. All our staff members are employees of Gimme a Break Cleaning. We pay all social security, state, federal and local taxes. Texas state and local sales and use tax is included in the quoted price. We take care of the paper work so you don't have to!
What hours are you available?
Gimme a Break Cleaning provides maid service during the hours of 9am to 4pm Monday - Friday. As with any other service related industry we give general arrival times throughout the day. Our typical arrival times are Morning between 9am-10:30am, Mid-morning between 10:30am-1pm, and afternoon arriving between 12pm-3:30pm.

Payments Accepted
The preferred method is by check. However, we accept credit card payments with a small service charge.

Cancellation Policy
We require a 24 hour cancellation notice or a fee up to your cleaning price will be charged.
Satisfaction Guarantee
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Although we do not offer refunds, if you notify us within 24hrs after your cleaning we will come back to re-clean those areas.
